Stratiphy has begun offering WisdomTree model portfolios inside its UK retail investment app, pairing them with automated rebalancing that the platform says removes the need for user intervention. The launch was announced on 13 October.
The first models are risk-aligned portfolios with broad exposure, plus a dynamic commodity model that rebalances based on quantitative tactical factors. Users can also access individual WisdomTree commodity ETPs covering gold, silver, oil and gas, and thematic ETFs focused on artificial intelligence, battery solutions, quantum computing, renewable energy, and strategic metals and rare earths miners. Stratiphy says those products can be included in personal investment strategies that users build for themselves.
Daniel Gold, Stratiphy's chief executive and founder, said: "We have partnered with WisdomTree to make it easier for everyday investors to access expert-built portfolios, and to design their own without the typical complexity." He added that WisdomTree's commodity and thematic range made it "the ideal ETP launch partners" for the app.
Model portfolios are commonly sold through advisor platforms, where a professional chooses which model fits a client and the platform maintains the allocations. Stratiphy offers the models directly to consumers and lets software handle the maintenance. WisdomTree supplies the strategies and the ETPs; Stratiphy supplies the app and the automation.
Stratiphy says the model strategies are the same ones WisdomTree runs for clients globally, collectively managing billions of dollars. It cites WisdomTree's USD175 billion total assets across ETFs, ETPs and major asset classes.
WisdomTree has been building other European access routes. ETF Daily reported that Optiver began quoting four ISINs of each of the issuer's EURO STOXX 50 autocallable strategies on Xetra and Borsa Italiana on 30 September.
